Rafael Sanchez Aviles has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive sector, mainly in finished vehicle logistics, including most recently as planning senior manager at SEAT. Since September 2025, he leads the Customer Driven Supply Chain department in the company, responsible for developing and implementing supply strategies aligned with customer expectations and business objectives, coordinating end-to-end processes from suppliers to final delivery, and ensuring efficiency and transparency. He also heads the digital strategy development in logistics, designing and implementing company’s digital transformation roadmap harmonised with business goals, focusing on culture and capability building through the promotion of a digital mindset across teams.

Also responsible for Zero Impact Logistics, Rafael also drives the sustainability strategy implementation for this business area, which includes defining the decarbonisation roadmap, and a cross-functional coordination between logistics, purchasing and sustainability teams to ensure alignment of goals and resources.
