Markus Kronen

Since June 2024, Markus Kronen has been Head of the Generative AI division in Procurement and Supplier Network at the BMW Group. Following roles at the BMW Group plant in Landshut and as Product Owner for AI Quality in Munich, he led the Smart Quality division, where he advanced the data-driven transformation of quality assurance. Today, he plays a key role in shaping the introduction of generative AI in procurement. Under his leadership, the multi-agent system AIconic was developed, which serves as a central AI access point for procurement processes worldwide and is a flagship project of BMW’s digital transformation.
