Kai Albus leads global supply chain strategy, global distribution, and logistics operations across tier-1 supplier Mann+Hummel’s Transportation Division, which includes automotive and mobility operations at the Ludwigsburg, Germany-based company. Since January 2025, he has been responsible for driving strategy, performance and digitalisation across supply chain operations, including freight and inventory management, distribution centres, 3PL relationships, as well as implementing a transport management system and ensuring logistics operations are e-commerce ready.
Kai Albus has worked across logistics and supply chain operations since 2000, during which time he has successfully led strategic initiatives that drove cost reductions, improved digitalisation, lean principles and enhanced supply chain resilience. He held multiple leadership roles at Robert Bosch, including as director of distribution services for both European and North America regions, managing large-scale warehouse networks and important modernisation projects. Prior to that, he held key roles at logistics provider Logwin Solutions, focusing on automotive logistics and contract management.
Kai Albus holds a degree in Transport and Logistics Engineering from the University of Technology Bremerhaven.
